Only latest linux kernel support e killer adapter. Is it possible that on my board the network adapter is dead? Already tried latest killer nic drivers from site and msi site along with atheros drivers chip is based on. In many distros it is not identified, must use manual installing. Try uninstalling the nic from device manager and all drivers whilst removing from the system.

How can Etherner show the idden devices in devices manager? I have the NIC cable plugged into the router and confirmed that it works, put it in the laptop and I get blinky lights, put back ino the NIC on the motherboard and nothing. Sounds hardware to me if it’s not present in a linux distro too. Please login or register.
In device manager as you can see in the screenshoot the lan is present hidden as disconnected: Is it possible tha my power supply I’m not sure it is working well is not enought powerful to let the network adapter works?
Seems win is not able ethernrt see the network adaptr. There is a solid orange light on ethernet port. I got to thinking i might need to re-install windows but before I went that route I went into the motherboard BIOS and look at mother layout of the devices.
I tried to install the driver from the site and from CD but in both case seems they are not able to identify the device on my board. Search Google, many threads. Only latest linux kernel support e killer adapter. O it is an hardware problem or software problem?? Just try the latest update for killer network driver: And in BIOS it seems enabled.

Windows started up just fine and I expected to see that I needed to install the chipset, installed the updated chip set but the device manager does NOT see the network adapter. The screen that shows if you have USB and such plugged in. It shows the NIC as being disconnected.
Try uninstalling the nic from device manager and all drivers whilst removing from the system.
When trying to install the killer drivers I get an error message that no hardware exist to install the driver for.
