I have a question to ask concerning DOS audio under this laptop. I added installation files to my bootcd. Everything works and the audio playback is smooth. This site hosts no abandonware. As we don’t support such, one has to convert it back to normal entries before trying out the driver.

Unsure if that is related to the driver or not. Notified from Elhoir on IRC that standard driver works card is back!
I’v followed the instructions that come with aolegro relevant driver to the letter but the result is that my games still run without audio even tho there are no errors.
Even tried this one?

I ended up fixing the dos sound for both of them using that which i found here: I extracted drivers from the Setup. I’v spend a few hours on the internet trying to find appropriate drivers to no avail. Please add a link to the site where the driver was obtained, driver version and OS version. This disclaimer is brought to you thanks to the BSA.
I can also record audio.
Card installs ok, but winamp says no audio devices – See ES folder from link for debug log and drivers. DOS Sound Blaster compatibility: Audio from other applications did not play anything. Start-Install-Rebootno sound from speakers, occasionally, system crashes during sound playback Debug-BT. Hang during driver installation, see debug log. Windows games ran fine no problems there but dos games didn’t get any sound as explained in the first post here. I’v also tried what seems to be the solution for “Cuba” but then it prompts with an error about the config file.

See bug revision too old, please update. I was hoping if a,legro could perhaps give a more detailed explanation how you ended up solving the issue on your machine.
Tested playback using the Fox Audio Player. This is known to work best atm, see the installation in VirtualBox. But at least you can hear ReactOS at opening sessions. See bug for hack, that is needed for successful driver installation and stutter decreasing.

Install worked and the start up sound will play but it has some static sounds when playing. I tried to install the driver and I first have to install another driver first.
Tested with QEMU 0. Allfgro site hosts no abandonware. You can hear ReactOS sound for session opening and play any sound if you open a video just a few seconds after you heard ReactOS sound at opening session. XP native drivers, correct installation, but no Wave-Out device debug log – has been recently fixed.
I have not had time to try it again. There is no material that is knowingly illegal here. I also tried a different file i found on the net but while this gave no errors there was absolutely no sound when i tried alelgro boot Quake 1 and the setup of duke nukem 3d flatout froze the whole machine when i attempted to test the sound.
Installs ok, ROS crashes after restart, see debug log.
