Ensoniq AudioPCI – Wikipedia
I have tested and upladed both drivers. AudioPCI, while designed to be ensnoiq, is still quite functional. CFG and edit this line: I don’t really like AudioPCI that much.
Now because Ensoniq was purchased by Creative, there are two drivers floating around! These drivers are provided simply because these were quite good cards, and the drivers are almost completely extinct in terms of availability on the Internet, since Ensoniq was unfortunately bought ejsoniq by Creative Labs, and it seems there are few or no mirrors elsewhere.
Towards the end of the s, Ensoniq was struggling financially. I was an Ensoniq nut starting in and followed AudioPCI from the first rumors in and bought one in Resampling means lower sound quality, worse synchronization and possibly higher CPU utilization. Gravis Ultrasound ‘classic’, Max, etc.
An alternative generic DOS mouse driver, which is opensource, is cutemouse. It sounds quite good considering how cheap these cards are! This is an extremely useful utility for older video cards, as it extends their functionality and can provide much faster graphics performance. I fixed the problem by going to mamedev. This also added some new features. Logitech also provides a DOS mouse driver which can be used with most pointing devices available, although it doesn’t support USB devices.
Most of the drivers for these other operating systems can be found elsewhere on the Internet; our concern is to preserve the availabiility of drivers which are either no longer on the manufacturer’s website notably Creative Labsor will most likely disappear from their websites soon. The card represented a shift in Ensoniq’s market positioning.
Sorry this didn’t help. An oddity is that the rear channel was connected to the same output jack as line input. Follow the alternative soundcard driver links at the top of this page if you require a more complete range of drivers for these cards.
PeteWeb – Old Operating systems. It was one of the first cards to have Microsoft DirectSound3D 4-speaker playback support. Each was done with 2, 4 and 8MB soundfont. Xos you are guaranteed that these drivers will work if you have a card that looks like the one in the picture above.

There is no material that is knowingly illegal here. At the end of the decade they were suffering financially and were purchased by Creative and merged with the E-mu subsidiary. Way better before the 8MB patch set showed up.
